VIRTUAL KEYNOTE SPEAKER
A VIRTUAL KEYNOTE SPEAKER STORY
The coronavirus lockdown was not a good time to be a real estate agent. My client, Joe, has a successful office with over 300 agents working for him. But of course, no one was working much in real estate during the lockdown. Agent morale was low, industry “experts” were uncertain wat the other side would look like. Joe asked me to do a virtual keynote for his people.
In a jam-packed 60 minutes full of my video stories I did my best to give perspective on what had happened to us all using my Change story, the message of which is “Change is a choice. You choose to change or choose to stand still”.
My Pit Stop story helped shift perspective on change and how stories can be an invaluable part of an agent’s skillset. I shared ideas on how to craft powerful stories, and closed with an incredible story of perseverance from Western Sydney University.
Feedback and thanks from the agents was fantastic universally positive. Here is Joe’s comment..
WHAT IS A VIRTUAL KEYNOTE SPEAKER (and why do you care)?
The Coronavirus changed the world. Few industries have felt the impact as hard as live events, many of which have moved online. I don’t need to tell you that.
What’s the key to success in hiring a speaker in the virtual world?

THIS IS TV NOT THEATRE
Virtual events are TV, not stage. And they’re custom-built for my style and format.
Using a custom player that works like PowerPoint on steroids, I integrate amazing video stories with live narration to create a powerful virtual experience.
It’s not a talking head.
It’s not another deck of slides.
It’s a unique format that uses the best elements from the worlds of storytelling, video, music, and drama.

STORIES ARE THE GLUE
We all binge-watch 7 or 8 seasons of great TV series if the story is good. That’s the principle I bring to doing a Virtual Keynote presentation. I use short, powerful, unforgettable stories from my library to grab your audience’s attention and take it on a ride, changing stories and tempo as I go.
I can do this as a keynote or spread my stories between your other speakers to inject bursts of energy that tie your virtual conference narrative together in a tight package.
Stories are the glue that bind cultures. Stories can be the glue that makes your next virtual conference unforgettable.
